Descriptions

Katyayani Trichoderma Viride is a biofungicide. It effectively controls a wide range of fungal diseases by degrading the cell wall of fungi. This fungicide is suitable for various fungal diseases like Wilt, Rot, Blight, Damping Off etc. in the crops like Pulses, Chilli, Paddy and many other Cereals, Fruit and vegetable crops.

Mode of Action:

  • Competition: Trichoderma viride can outcompete pathogenic fungi for space and nutrients on the roots of plants.
  • Antibiosis: Trichoderma viride produces antifungal compounds that can kill pathogenic fungi.
  • Parasitism: Trichoderma viride can parasitize pathogenic fungi, breaking down their cell walls and killing them.
  • Induced resistance: Trichoderma viride can trigger an immune response in plants, making them more resistant to disease.

Target Crops: Chilli, Pigeon Pea, Pulses, Cowpea, Chick Pea, Paddy, Cauliflower, Brinjal, Cabbage, Tomato, Bengal Gram, Sunflower and many other fruit and Vegetable Crops.

Dosage:

  • Foliar Application: Dissolve 5-10 ml in 1 liter of water; spray on both sides of leaves during evening hours.
  • Soil Application: Mix 1-2 liters per acre into the soil.
